Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Senior Resident in Surgical Oncology, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive clinical care to cancer patients. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of surgical oncology.
How You'll Contribute: - Provide clinical care to cancer patients in OPD, IPD, and perioperative settings under supervision. - Assist in teaching and training medical students and residents in Surgical Oncology. - Perform and assist in major and minor oncologic surgeries across various organ systems. - Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary discussions, and treatment planning. - Guide interns and junior residents in oncology patient management and surgical skills. - Contribute to departmental research, data collection, and academic publications. - Maintain thorough documentation of operative procedures and follow-up care. - Attend CMEs, oncology workshops, and national/international conferences. - Support cancer screening, early detection, and patient awareness programs. - Ensure ethical, evidence-based, and compassionate cancer care delivery.
