About the Role: As a Consultant in Gastroenterology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD, IBD, liver disease, and pancreatic disorders. - Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests such as endoscopy and colonoscopy. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' diagnoses and medical history. - Perform endoscopic procedures to evaluate and treat gastrointestinal conditions. - Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and coordinate care. - Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal conditions and treatment options.
