About the Role: As a Duty Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients during your assigned hours.
What You'll Be Doing: - Attend to patients presenting at the hospital or clinic during the assigned duty hours. - Conduct initial patient assessments, examinations, and record medical histories. - Provide emergency care and basic treatment for acute conditions and injuries. - Prescribe medications and recommend diagnostic tests as necessary. - Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or higher care centers when needed. - Monitor patient progress and update medical records accurately. - Ensure proper communication with nursing staff, technicians, and other healthcare professionals. - Manage admissions, discharge summaries, and documentation as per hospital protocols.
