About the Role: As a Consultant in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions, ensuring high standards of patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. - Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as ECG, ECHO, TMT, Holter monitoring, etc. - Conduct interventional procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, and stent placements. - Provide emergency cardiac care, including management of myocardial infarctions, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest. - Monitor and follow up with patients post-treatment to ensure optimal cardiac health. - Maintain comprehensive medical records and ensure continuity of care. - Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, procedures, and lifestyle modifications. - Participate in cardiac rehabilitation and preventive cardiology programs. - Ensure a high standard of patient safety and care quality in all cardiac interventions. - Collaborate with ICU, surgical teams, and general physicians for multidisciplinary cardiac care.
