About the Role: As a Consultant in Cardiac Anesthesia, you will provide expert anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries and interventions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and formulate anesthesia plans. - Administer and monitor anesthesia during open-heart and interventional cardiac procedures. - Manage intraoperative hemodynamics and use advanced monitoring techniques (e.g., TEE). - Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and perfusionists in multidisciplinary teams. - Oversee post-operative recovery and pain management in the ICU and cardiac recovery unit. - Ensure strict adherence to patient safety and infection control protocols. - Maintain accurate and detailed anesthesia and perioperative documentation.
