About the Role: As a Duty Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients in various settings, including IPD, OPD, and emergency situations.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide round-the-clock medical care and attend to patients in IPD, OPD, and emergency settings. - Conduct initial patient assessments and stabilize critically ill patients. - Monitor patient vitals, update treatment charts, and ensure timely medication administration. - Coordinate with consultants and follow their instructions for patient management. - Handle medical emergencies and initiate basic and advanced life support as needed. - Document patient progress, reports, and handovers during shift changes. - Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to clinical protocols. - Communicate with patient families regarding condition and updates.
