About the Role: As a Senior Resident in the CCU, you will provide advanced medical care for critically ill cardiac patients, making a significant impact on their recovery and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provides advanced medical care and management for critically ill cardiac patients in the CCU. - Assesses, diagnoses, and initiates appropriate treatment protocols for various cardiac emergencies. - Leads response to cardiac arrests and other life-threatening events, performing resuscitation as needed. - Performs and supervises critical procedures like central line insertion, intubation, temporary pacing, and ICD/pacemaker management. - Guides and mentors junior residents, interns, and nursing staff in CCU protocols and patient care. - Ensures meticulous and timely maintenance of all patient medical records, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
