About the Role: As an Associate Consultant in Anesthesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. - Assess patients pre-operatively and determine appropriate anesthesia plans. - Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia depth during procedures, ensuring patient safety. - Manage post-operative pain and monitor recovery in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit). - Assist in critical care management and emergency response within the hospital. - Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records. - Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to optimize outcomes. - Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols. - Participate in academic activities, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
