About the Role: As a Consultant Intensivist, you will provide expert care and management to critically ill patients in the ICU, leading a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide expert care and management to critically ill patients in the ICU. - Lead the ICU team in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. - Perform and supervise life-saving procedures such as intubation and central line insertion. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols accordingly. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff. - Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and safety standards. - Guide and train junior doctors, nurses, and residents in critical care management. - Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding prognosis and care plans.
