About the Role: As a Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, ensuring optimal patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Conduct thorough eye examinations and diagnose vision problems and eye diseases. - Perform surgical and non-surgical treatments, including cataract and LASIK procedures. - Provide expert consultation in outpatient clinics and inpatient care when needed. - Interpret diagnostic tests such as OCT, fundus photography, and visual fields. - Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and post-operative care plans. - Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other specialists for patient care. - Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments. - Educate patients about eye health, prevention, and follow-up care.
