About the Role: As an Intensivist, you will provide essential round-the-clock medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring their health and safety.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide round-the-clock medical care to ICU patients including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. - Perform and supervise critical procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, ventilator management, etc. - Monitor patients' clinical status, laboratory findings, and imaging reports to adjust treatment plans. - Lead and coordinate with the ICU nursing staff, junior doctors, and support personnel. - Communicate with patient families regarding prognosis, treatment plans, and consent procedures. - Participate in ICU rounds, case presentations, and interdisciplinary discussions. - Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and safety practices.
