About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Microbiology, you will play a crucial role in educating future healthcare professionals and contributing to vital research in the field.
What You'll Be Doing: - Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Microbiology through lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions. - Conduct laboratory demonstrations, experiments, and guide students in diagnostic microbiology practices. - Assist in routine diagnostic laboratory work including bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, serology, and molecular diagnostics. - Participate in infection control programs and hospital surveillance activities. - Contribute to departmental teaching activities like seminars, journal clubs, CMEs, and workshops. - Support student research projects, dissertations, and presentations. - Engage in departmental research work, publications, and conferences. - Maintain accurate lab records, quality assurance standards, and documentation.
