About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Psychiatry, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients under supervision.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency psychiatric care under faculty/consultant supervision. - Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with psychiatric disorders, including acute and chronic cases. - Participate in counseling, psychotherapy sessions, and community mental health programs. - Assist in the management of patients in de-addiction, child psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and consultation-liaison psychiatry. - Conduct ward rounds, case presentations, and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions. - Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. - Engage in academic teaching and clinical training for undergraduate and postgraduate students. - Participate in departmental academic activities like seminars, journal clubs, and CMEs.
