About the Role: As a Senior Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive surgical care to patients under the supervision of experienced consultants.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency surgical care under supervision of consultants/faculty. - Assist in performing surgical procedures (minor, major, and emergency surgeries) as per training and competency. - Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient management including rounds, dressings, and follow-up. - Manage surgical emergencies and trauma cases in casualty/ER. - Conduct and assist in specialty clinics such as wound care, GI surgery, vascular, etc. - Maintain accurate clinical notes, operative records, and discharge summaries. - Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in surgery.
