About the Role: As a CTVS Surgeon, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and surgically treating conditions related to the heart, lungs, chest, and vascular system.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and surgically treat conditions related to the heart, lungs, chest, and vascular system. - Perform procedures such as CABG, valve replacement/repair, aortic aneurysm repair, lobectomy, and vascular bypass. - Conduct pre-operative evaluations and develop detailed surgical plans using diagnostic tools. - Manage post-operative care in the ICU and ward, including monitoring for complications. - Collaborate with cardiologists, pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists for comprehensive care. - Participate in emergency surgeries including trauma and acute vascular occlusions. - Maintain precise operative notes, clinical documentation, and follow-up records. - Counsel patients and families about procedures, risks, outcomes, and long-term care.
