About the Role: As a Histopathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing diseases through microscopic examination of tissue samples.
What You'll Be Doing: - Examine tissue samples microscopically to diagnose diseases such as cancer, infections, and inflammatory conditions. - Perform gross examination, tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining of specimens. - Interpret histopathological findings and issue timely, accurate diagnostic reports. - Correlate microscopic findings with clinical and radiological data for comprehensive diagnosis. - Utilize special stains, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and molecular pathology techniques as required. - Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, and other specialists in multidisciplinary case discussions. - Ensure quality control and compliance with NABL/NABH standards in histopathology lab practices. - Supervise laboratory technicians and ensure adherence to biosafety and documentation protocols.
