About the Role: As a Senior Resident in the CCU, you will play a crucial role in managing patients with acute cardiac conditions, ensuring high-quality care and timely interventions.
What You'll Be Doing: - Manage patients admitted with acute cardiac conditions such as myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, heart failure, and cardiogenic shock. - Monitor vital parameters and interpret ECGs, cardiac markers, and echocardiograms. - Perform emergency procedures including defibrillation, cardioversion, temporary pacemaker insertion, and central line placement. - Provide round-the-clock care and timely interventions under supervision of cardiologists. - Collaborate with nurses, cardiology technicians, and ICU staff to ensure quality care. - Participate in daily CCU rounds, case discussions, and critical care planning. - Maintain comprehensive medical records, treatment charts, and procedural documentation. - Supervise junior residents and assist in their clinical training.
