About the Role: As an Anesthetist at MatCare Maternity & Child Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess patients’ medical history and evaluate risks prior to anesthesia. - Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia as required. - Monitor patients’ vital signs throughout surgical and medical procedures. - Provide pain management during and after surgery. - Respond to medical emergencies and manage complications related to anesthesia. - Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe procedures. - Maintain accurate anesthesia and patient care records. - Counsel patients regarding anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
