About the Role: As a Consultant Cardiac Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures. - Assess patients pre-operatively, including reviewing medical history and performing risk evaluations. - Administer anesthesia using advanced techniques tailored for cardiac surgeries. - Monitor vital signs and manage hemodynamic stability during surgical procedures. - Operate and interpret cardiac monitoring equipment such as TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography). - Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and ICU teams for seamless patient care. - Manage post-operative pain control and recovery in cardiac surgery patients. - Respond to perioperative emergencies and complications promptly. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and evidence-based anesthesia practices.
