About the Role: As a Consultant Intensivist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive critical care management for patients in the ICU.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide comprehensive critical care management for patients in the ICU. - Perform advanced life support, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring. - Conduct detailed patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. - Lead daily multidisciplinary ICU rounds to review and update patient care. - Manage emergencies such as septic shock, cardiac arrest, and multi-organ failure. - Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff for coordinated care. - Perform and supervise invasive procedures such as central line insertion, intubation, and arterial line placement. - Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines. - Counsel families on patient prognosis and treatment options with empathy.
