About the Role: As a Consultant Hematologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing a wide range of blood disorders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and manage blood disorders such as anemia, clotting disorders, leukemia, and lymphoma. - Interpret blood tests, bone marrow examinations, and other hematological investigations. - Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including transfusions and chemotherapy. - Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care. - Monitor treatment outcomes and manage therapy-related side effects. - Educate patients and families on disease understanding and treatment adherence. - Participate in departmental meetings and clinical case discussions. - Stay updated on advancements in hematology through CMEs and medical conferences. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety guidelines.
