About the Role: As a Consultant Neonatologist, you will provide specialized care for newborns, particularly those who are premature or critically ill, making a significant impact on their health and development.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide specialized care for newborns, especially premature and critically ill infants. - Diagnose and manage neonatal conditions such as respiratory distress, sepsis, jaundice, and congenital anomalies. - Perform and oversee procedures like neonatal resuscitation, intubation, and central line insertion. - Monitor growth, development, and overall health of newborns in NICU and postnatal wards. - Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and nursing staff for coordinated neonatal care. - Counsel and educate parents on newborn care, feeding, and follow-up requirements. - Participate in departmental meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement programs. - Stay updated on advancements in neonatology through CMEs, workshops, and research.
