About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, contributing to accurate patient diagnoses and care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, and MRI under supervision of consultants. - Assist in interventional radiology procedures such as FNAC, biopsies, and drain placements. - Correlate radiological findings with clinical history and laboratory results for accurate diagnosis. - Ensure timely reporting and communication of critical findings to referring clinicians. - Participate in emergency and on-call radiology services including portable imaging for ICU/ER. - Maintain accurate documentation and image archiving using PACS and RIS systems. - Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures. - Mentor junior residents and radiology technicians in procedures and image quality optimization.
