About the Role: As an Anesthesia Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assess patients pre-operatively to determine anesthesia fitness and risk factors. - Administer appropriate anesthesia (general, regional, or local) during surgical procedures. - Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia depth throughout the surgery. - Manage airway, ventilation, and fluid balance during operations. - Handle anesthesia-related emergencies and ensure patient stability. - Provide post-operative pain management and monitor recovery from anesthesia. - Maintain accurate anesthesia and intraoperative records. - Ensure readiness and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and drugs. - Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and ICU staff for perioperative care.
