About the Role: As a Consultant in General Medicine, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct detailed clinical evaluations of patients presenting with various medical symptoms and conditions.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, infections, and respiratory illnesses.
- Prescribe appropriate investigations and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure follow-up care for continuity of treatment.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients admitted to the medical wards.
- Attend to and manage medical emergencies in the emergency room.
- Collaborate with other specialists for immediate interventions in critical cases.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when required.
