Your Core Responsibilities:
- Teach ophthalmology to undergraduate and postgraduate students through lectures, clinical demonstrations, and case-based discussions.
- Conduct and supervise ophthalmic procedures, including diagnostics, surgeries (cataract, LASIK, retinal), and therapeutic interventions.
- Guide students in research projects, thesis work, and evidence-based ophthalmic practices.
- Conduct and publish research in ophthalmology, visual sciences, and related subspecialties.
- Supervise and mentor medical students, interns, and residents in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Participate in curriculum development, syllabus revision, and academic planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic eye care and medical education.
- Engage in faculty development programs, university committees, and administrative responsibilities.
- Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmic surgery, diagnostic tools, and treatment modalities.
