About the Role: As a Psychiatry Tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of medical professionals by imparting knowledge in psychiatry.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Teach psychiatry to undergraduate and postgraduate students through lectures, case discussions, and clinical demonstrations.
- Explain key concepts in mental health disorders, psychiatric assessment, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology.
- Conduct bedside teaching in psychiatric wards, outpatient clinics, and community mental health programs.
- Guide students in clinical case presentations, research projects, and evidence-based psychiatric practices.
- Prepare teaching materials, case studies, and assessment tools for student evaluation.
- Supervise practical training sessions, ensuring students develop skills in psychiatric history taking, mental status examination, and diagnosis.
- Stay updated with advancements in psychiatry, including new treatment modalities, psychological therapies, and neuropsychiatric research.
- Provide academic mentorship and support to students struggling with psychiatric concepts.
