About the Role: As a Sr. Resident/Jr. Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to surgical patients across various settings.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to surgical patients in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.
- Assist in performing and managing various surgical procedures under faculty supervision.
- Conduct clinical evaluations, formulate treatment plans, and manage trauma and acute surgical cases.
- Assist in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students through bedside clinics, case discussions, and academic sessions.
- Participate in hospital rounds, multidisciplinary team discussions, and morbidity & mortality audits.
- Support research activities, including case studies, clinical trials, and surgical innovations.
- Assist in student assessments, viva voce, and practical examinations.
- Develop academic presentations, surgical case reports, and contribute to medical publications.
- Stay updated with advancements in general surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and evidence-based surgical practices.
