About the Role: As an Orthopaedic Tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of orthopedic surgery by teaching and mentoring students.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in orthopedic surgery through lectures, clinical demonstrations, and practical training.
- Develop and update curriculum, ensuring alignment with the latest advancements in orthopedic medicine and surgical techniques.
- Supervise and guide students in research projects, dissertations, and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Conduct clinical training in orthopedic wards, operation theaters, and outpatient departments.
- Perform and oversee complex orthopedic surgeries, including trauma management, joint replacements, arthroscopy, and spine surgeries.
- Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and interdepartmental meetings for patient management and academic collaboration.
- Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic procedures, regenerative medicine, and evidence-based practices.
- Lead and participate in faculty development programs, seminars, conferences, and continuing medical education (CME) sessions.
- Contribute to institutional growth by engaging in administrative responsibilities, academic committees, and policy development.
