About the Role: Join our team as a Sr. Resident/Jr. Resident in Microbiology, where you will play a crucial role in educating the next generation of medical professionals and advancing research in infectious diseases.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students through lectures, practical demonstrations, and case-based discussions.
- Conduct laboratory sessions on bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, and immunology.
- Perform microbiological tests, including culture, staining, serological assays, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
- Support research activities in infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and molecular diagnostics.
- Participate in hospital infection control programs and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
- Assist in student assessments, viva voce, and practical examinations.
- Develop teaching materials, academic presentations, and question banks for student evaluation.
- Stay updated with advancements in molecular microbiology, PCR techniques, and emerging infectious diseases.
- Engage in interdepartmental academic discussions, journal clubs, and clinical case presentations.
