About the Role: As a Dentistry Tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of dental professionals by imparting essential knowledge and skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students fundamental concepts in dentistry through lectures, clinical demonstrations, and hands-on training.
- Explain topics such as oral anatomy, dental pathology, restorative dentistry, periodontology, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Conduct practical training in preclinical and clinical settings, including dental labs and patient clinics.
- Guide students in diagnostic procedures, treatment planning, and patient management.
- Prepare teaching materials, case studies, and assessment tools for student evaluation.
- Supervise students in performing dental procedures such as cavity restorations, scaling, extractions, and prosthetic fabrication.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental materials, digital dentistry, implantology, and minimally invasive techniques.
- Provide academic mentorship and support to students, ensuring they develop strong theoretical and practical skills.
- Participate in curriculum development, syllabus updates, and interdisciplinary teaching initiatives.
