About the Role: As a Sr. Resident/Jr. Resident in Psychiatry, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical care to patients with psychiatric disorders across various settings.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide clinical care to patients with psychiatric disorders in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.
- Assist in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students through case discussions, bedside clinics, and academic sessions.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate treatment plans, and manage acute and chronic mental health conditions.
- Administer and monitor pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, including psychotherapy and counseling.
- Participate in research activities, including clinical trials and case studies in psychiatry and behavioral sciences.
- Engage in community psychiatry programs, mental health awareness initiatives, and rehabilitation services.
- Assist in student assessments, viva voce, and practical examinations.
- Develop academic presentations, case reports, and contribute to medical publications.
- Stay updated with advancements in psychiatry, including neuropsychiatry, addiction medicine, and psychopharmacology.
