About the Role: As a Pharmacist at Aster MIMS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide guidance on their proper use.
- Review and verify prescriptions to ensure correct dosage, potential drug interactions, and patient safety.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, storage, and possible interactions with food or other drugs.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances as per regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans and medication management.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in pharmacy operations and drug dispensing.
- Monitor medication stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Prepare and compound medications when necessary, following prescribed formulations and safety protocols.
- Educate patients and the community on health topics, disease prevention, and proper medication adherence.
