About the Role: As an Optometrist at Aster MIMS, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient vision and eye health.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids to improve patient vision.
- Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive errors.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
- Educate patients on proper eye care, visual hygiene, and preventive measures.
- Use specialized equipment such as slit lamps, autorefractors, and tonometers for accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for advanced patient care.
- Maintain detailed patient records, prescriptions, and treatment plans.
- Stay updated on advancements in optometry, ocular health, and vision correction technologies.
- Ensure compliance with medical guidelines, ethical standards, and safety protocols in eye care practice.
