About the Role: As a Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients across various medical specialties.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conducting physical examinations, taking medical histories, and assessing patient conditions.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work, X-rays, and ECGs.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans under physician supervision.
- Prescribing medications and providing guidance on dosage and usage as per regulations.
- Performing minor medical procedures such as suturing wounds, administering injections, and dressing injuries.
- Educating patients on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintaining accurate medical records, progress notes, and treatment documentation.
- Assisting in surgeries and other medical procedures as required by the supervising physician.
