About the Role: As a Microbiologist at Vamsi Pharma Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in diagnosing infections and ensuring patient safety through microbiological testing.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct microbiological tests on patient samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) to diagnose infections.
- Analyze cultures, microscopy, and molecular diagnostic techniques to identify pathogens.
- Ensure compliance with biosafety and infection control protocols in hospitals and laboratories.
- Monitor and prevent hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and antibiotic resistance patterns.
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to provide microbiological insights for patient care.
- Perform quality control checks in microbiology laboratories to ensure accurate testing.
- Conduct research on infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and public health issues.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to NABL, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
- Train healthcare staff on infection prevention, sterilization techniques, and microbial safety.
