About the Role: As a Professor of Perfusionists, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of perfusion technology and cardiac surgery education.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions on perfusion technology, cardiac surgery, and hemodynamic monitoring to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and revise the curriculum to align with the latest advances in perfusion technology and related medical fields.
- Supervise clinical training, ensuring students gain hands-on experience in the use of perfusion equipment and techniques.
- Guide students on theoretical concepts and practical applications in heart-lung machines, extracorporeal circulation, and blood oxygenation.
- Conduct research on innovations in perfusion techniques, cardiovascular surgeries, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote advanced knowledge in perfusion and related medical technologies.
- Collaborate with hospitals, cardiac surgery departments, and perfusion labs to facilitate student internships and clinical exposure.
- Assess student performance through exams, practical tests, and clinical evaluations in a real-world setting.
