About the Role: As a Critical Care Charge Nurse, you will lead and manage the critical care nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care in the ICU or critical care unit.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee the assessment, monitoring, and management of critically ill patients, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring proper delegation of tasks and effective resource management.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies.
- Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing staff in handling complex and life-threatening conditions.
- Ensure strict adherence to ICU protocols, infection control measures, and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate patient care during emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients' families during critical care situations.
