About the Role: As a Pharmacy professional at KIMS Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently as per doctors’ orders.
- Ensuring proper storage and handling of medications, following safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Assisting pharmacists in preparing and labeling medications for patient use.
- Providing medication counseling and education to patients on proper use, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Maintaining accurate patient medication records, including prescription history and over-the-counter purchases.
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels, placing orders to restock medications as needed.
- Assisting in compounding medications and preparing specialized treatments as prescribed.
- Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
- Helping with drug utilization review and ensuring that prescriptions are appropriate and safe.
