About the Role: As a Gastroenterologist at CIMS, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing diseases of the digestive system, impacting patient health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and manage diseases of the digestive system including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP).
- Interpret results from diagnostic imaging and pathology reports.
- Collaborate with other physicians, surgeons, and medical staff for multidisciplinary care.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions like GERD, IBS, Crohn’s disease, hepatitis, and GI cancers.
- Educate patients about disease prevention, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain detailed medical records and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in on-call duties, ward rounds, and case presentations as required.
