Make a Difference in Patient Care: As a Neonatology Specialist, you will provide specialized medical care for critically ill and premature newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
How You'll Contribute: - Diagnose and manage conditions such as respiratory distress, infections, congenital disorders, and birth complications. - Perform life-saving procedures, including intubation, mechanical ventilation, and umbilical catheterization. - Monitor and assess the growth, development, and overall health of newborns. - Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other specialists for comprehensive neonatal care. - Counsel and support parents regarding their newborn's condition, treatment options, and long-term care needs. - Stay updated on advancements in neonatal medicine, treatments, and critical care technologies. - Manage nutrition, medication, and oxygen therapy for premature and low-birth-weight infants. - Provide follow-up care to high-risk infants, monitoring their developmental progress.
