About the Role: As a Medical Gastroenterology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating diseases related to the digestive system, performing various surgical interventions, and managing patient care.
What You'll Be Doing: - Diagnose and treat diseases related to the digestive system requiring surgical intervention. - Perform surgeries such as laparoscopic, endoscopic, and open procedures on the gastrointestinal tract. - Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for gastroenterology patients. - Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthetists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. - Conduct diagnostic procedures like endoscopy and colonoscopy. - Monitor patient recovery and manage complications effectively. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and surgical reports. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. - Stay updated on advancements in surgical gastroenterology techniques and treatments.
