About the Role: As a Senior Resident / Junior Resident in Psychiatry, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing patients with psychiatric disorders, contributing to their overall mental health and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with psychiatric disorders in OPD, IPD, and emergency settings. - Conduct detailed mental status examinations and risk assessments. - Assist in psychotherapy sessions, de-addiction counseling, and rehabilitation planning. - Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications under faculty supervision. - Participate in multidisciplinary care involving psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists. - Maintain accurate clinical records, case notes, and legal documentation. - Guide interns and medical students during psychiatric postings and clinical discussions. - Attend academic activities including seminars, case presentations, and journal clubs.
