About the Role: As a Senior Resident in General Surgery, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients under the guidance of experienced consultants.
What You'll Be Doing: - Assist in performing surgical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants. - Manage pre-operative and post-operative care of patients in wards and ICUs. - Conduct daily rounds, assess surgical patients, and update treatment plans. - Participate in emergency and trauma surgeries as part of the on-call duty roster. - Maintain patient records, operative notes, and discharge summaries. - Supervise interns and junior residents in clinical and academic tasks. - Attend academic sessions, CMEs, and departmental meetings regularly.
