About the Role: As a Senior Resident in Neurology, you will provide specialized care to patients with neurological disorders, contributing to their recovery and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide specialized care to patients with neurological disorders under consultant guidance. - Manage OPD, IPD, and emergency cases related to stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, etc. - Assist in diagnostic procedures like EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies. - Perform clinical evaluations, neurological examinations, and patient monitoring. - Support consultants during complex procedures and treatment planning. - Participate in academic sessions, clinical discussions, and departmental teaching. - Maintain accurate medical records, case histories, and progress notes. - Engage in research, publications, and clinical trials as assigned. - Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, patient safety, and ethical practices. - Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and rehabilitation.
