About the Role: As a BAMS Duty Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing initial assessments and treatments for patients in both inpatient and emergency settings.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide initial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for inpatients and emergency cases. - Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary. - Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as required. - Respond promptly to medical emergencies, including trauma, cardiac arrest, and critical care cases. - Stabilize patients and coordinate with senior consultants or specialists for further management. - Perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) when required. - Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and paramedical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Provide updates to senior doctors and escalate critical cases for specialist intervention. - Ensure smooth handover of patient information during shift changes.
