About the Role: As a Neurosurgeon at KIMSHealth Hospital, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders, making a significant impact on their quality of life.
What You'll Be Doing: - Examine and evaluate patients with neurological disorders or injuries. - Interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, and angiograms. - Plan and perform brain, spine, and peripheral nerve surgeries. - Manage trauma cases including head and spinal injuries. - Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery. - Collaborate with neurologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists. - Prescribe medications and non-surgical treatments when appropriate. - Counsel patients and families on treatment options, risks, and prognosis. - Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
