About the Role: As a Pediatric Intensivist, you will provide specialized critical care to critically ill or unstable pediatric patients, making a significant impact on their recovery and well-being.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide specialized critical care to critically ill or unstable pediatric patients. - Monitor and manage ventilators, hemodynamic support, and other life-support systems. - Diagnose, treat, and manage complex medical conditions in the pediatric ICU. - Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and other specialists for patient care. - Prescribe medications, interventions, and advanced therapies as per protocols. - Supervise and mentor ICU nurses, residents, and junior staff. - Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and hospital protocols in the ICU. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans. - Participate in family counseling, explaining patient condition and prognosis.
