About the Role: As a PICU Staff Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill children, ensuring their safety and comfort in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
What You'll Be Doing: - Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). - Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support and monitoring equipment. - Assist in diagnostic procedures, treatments, and emergency interventions for pediatric patients. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment charts. - Educate and support parents regarding their child’s care, condition, and recovery. - Collaborate closely with pediatricians, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals. - Ensure strict adherence to infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols in the PICU. - Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and trainees in the unit. - Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous training programs.
