About the Role: As a Resident Medical Officer at Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, you will play a crucial role in patient care and treatment. Your expertise will directly impact the health and well-being of our patients.
What You'll Be Doing: - Accompany consultant doctors on IPD Ward visits. - Pay timely visits to in-patients and treat them in the absence of the consultant. - Conduct medical procedures under supervision after obtaining consent from patients' attendants. - Implement Quality (ISO/NABH/JCI) protocols in patient care. - Ensure complete and accurate documentation of patient files and records. - Authorize all diagnostic requisition slips. - Monitor nursing care, including proper medication and timely vitals recording. - Inspect maintenance of the patient ward during duty hours. - Attend emergencies and inform consultant doctors for further action. - Provide information regarding patients' conditions to their attendants as needed. - Regularly check diet charts, medicine charts, and vitals charts. - Coordinate with nursing, paramedical, and non-medical staff to maintain high standards of medical care. - Perform other duties as assigned by seniors.
